Membership

After 4 weeks of training, it is highly recommended that you become a member of the BKK as soon as possible, not only for insurance cover but also to be able to enter BKK tournaments and other events.

Before you can attempt your first grading you must obtain your BKK licence and membership card, which is a simple process. Your club Instructor will give you the form which requires your name, address & date of birth. This membership will also make you a member of the IFK (International Federation of Karate), which entitles you to train and enter tournaments abroad.

The cost of this membership is set by the BKK and is renewed on a yearly basis in May.
